you can't compare tebow to stafford cause stafford is a throwing QB,tebow is not, tebow even looks horrible when he is throwing it.....bottom line is,tebow will never make it as a QB in the nfl, great athlete but no QB

Can't compare because stafford is playing with broken finger against the best team in football. Do you Know green bay would beat Denver by 30 on a bad day

Guy snatches defeat out of victory more than any other QB paid for that kinda money. Feel sorry for the rest of the team from OLine, running backs, and the defense. They played hard and well enough to win but Matt made sure that wasn't going to happen again.

Overpaid and no talent. Chocked on the turkey bone.

Matthew Stafford raised the contractual bar for quarterbacks across the NFL with the five-year, $135 million extension he signed last week.
Stafford set records for biggest signing bonus ($50 million), most money fully guaranteed at signing ($60.5 million) and three-year cash flow ($87 million), and he also earned the rare distinction of having no offset language in his contract.
According to paperwork filed with the NFL Players Association, the Lions did not include offset language in any of the bonus payments or guaranteed money due to Stafford over the life of his deal.
That means, should the Lions cut Stafford at some point during the contract, Stafford would be able to "double dip" and collect the money the Lions owe him on top of whatever he would make from another team.

Stafford received a $50 million signing bonus as part of the deal, but deferred payment on $16.5 million of the bonus until next February.
NFL teams routinely defer a portion of large bonuses in order to manage cash flow.
The base salaries in each of Stafford's first two seasons — $1 million this year and $9.5 million next — are fully guaranteed with no offset language, and roster bonuses each of the next three seasons also contain no offsets.
The Lions will pay Stafford $6.5 million if he's on their roster next March, on the fifth day of the 2018 league year, and $6 million on the fifth day of the league year in each of the next two seasons.
All three of the roster bonuses are currently guaranteed for injury only, and become fully guaranteed later in the contract.
Stafford also has a $13.5 million base salary in 2019 with no offsets — that salary becomes fully guaranteed next March — and a $10 million roster bonus due early in the 2021 league year that has no guarantees.

The Lions saved more than $5 million in cap room by signing Stafford to his extension, but Stafford's deal comes with hefty future cap numbers. in 2020, the final year of the current collective bargaining agreement, Stafford's contract carries a $31.5 million cap hit. The next year, his cap number will be $30 million.

Brees will be retiring and I know it won't happen but man I wish we could see what Stafford could do in a place like New Orleans with Payton.
